Okay, so I shit my pants after this. This is one of the only movies I’ve ever seen that left me SO deeply unsettled I actually had to say a prayer after and I’m not even religious. It was less scared that I’m gonna get killed and more scared that I’m posessed and have a dark energy sucked into my soul forever now. Other than that, I did like the plot and how everything unfolded. I was engaged the whole time and all my questions were pretty much answered when they gave the backstory at the end. I did think it was kinda obvious that Lee’s mom was some sort of freak, so I wasn’t too shocked when it was revealed that she’s been behind all the murders, alongside Longlegs. Sidenote, his death was so horrific and unsatisfying. Another horrific death was my girl Agent Browning, like goddamn that was so undeserved; freak mama went rogue on her. The very end pissed me off though like Lee just stood there knowing exactly what was about to go down and just let Agent Carter take his wife into the kitchen to kill her like SAVE HER BRUH!!! And then just looking around while holding the gun like holy shit shoot someone already. Overall, it was a thrilling experience that I would never put myself through again, and never trust freaky white people.
