This is a heaping pile of fucking garbage. You can’t just slap A24 on something and think it makes up for this disgrace. That’s like blaming 9/11 on Bin Laden when it was clearly Bush duh.. I’m sorry you horny (unjustified btw) freaks but this is a major miss for me. Call me an ageist but I can’t get it up to a much older woman having dog fantasies with a fuckboy that has the maturity of a 12-year-old. Also, I don’t know if that was Harris Dickinson’s goal (to be a rock for brains douchebag) but if that was it.. then he nailed it. I know the whole point is like guilty pleasure blah blah degrading blah but they would say they were not into it so many times and looked so bad together that it made it so off-putting and uncomfortable to witness, not empowering. Don’t get me started on the noises… vile. I’m sorry, this is not a safe space. I’ve seen the whole discussion of how her guttural moans with Sam compared to her fake ones with her husband signify her sexual liberation and vulnerability but I don't give a FUCK. It literally made me crawl out of my skin, especially their first hookup when the camera was stuck on her face, for like 10 minutes, while he touched her like either gtfo out of my face or change the angle so I can at least see. Also, I seriously felt like I was tripping the entire time because every scene was 1-2 min long, apart from the extremely excruciating ones,  and completely pointless. Countless amounts of scenes did nothing for the plot. But… WHAT WAS THE PLOT. Nothing fucking happened besides a bunch of cheating, weird sex, and then going back to their regular lives. Her marriage being ruined by their adultery was so irredeemable that the end felt so pathetic. Why did it just end with her finally being able to cum with her husband, like you could have spoken up in those 19 years and not gone through all this you SLUT. No clarity was felt. Even the mini subplot of the girl trying to get her fired didn’t really go anywhere and neither did the one about her gay thot daughter. Overall, this was a complete waste of time and scrubbing my brain with acid wouldn’t be able to erase the images this movie engraved in my head.
